If you have managed to get an appearance ticket for a marijuana related case, it may be a relatively rare situation going forward, but it is nonetheless a problem that needs to be solved. It is unlikely that marijuana cases are going to be a high priority for any District Attorney’s Office in New York City going forward, so there are likely to be acceptable settlement options available in all but the most unusual of marijuana cases. That being said, it is always a problem if you find yourself in criminal court, and you need legal advice to find the best way through the process.
